The commercial schemes Atkin Construction have completed over the years cover a very wide range of buildings. ..From office fit-outs to industrial buildings and shops to retirement villages our flexibility to adhere to different building types is commendable. Our Commercial Construction Team confidently step up to the mark and use their wide experience in the industry to work around a framework dependent on the situation at the time.

For most of the twenty years Atkin Construction has been trading we have been very active in the construction of schools and classrooms throughout the greater Hawke’s Bay. We have the necessary familiarity needed to work around the sometimes demanding school program. That familiarity is backed up by the safety record required to work in a functioning school environment.

Atkin Construction has a sepcialist Earthquake Strengthening division. Our team has extensive experience in seismic restrengthening and is happy to talk in regards to any potential strengthening issues you may have. No job is too big or too small for this highly trained division. Key contracts include strengthening buildings for the Westpac Bank and large scale strengthening work on one of Napiers most iconic Art Deco Heritage Buildings, The County Hotel.
